Reddi-Wall Home Building Process
Reddi-Wall insulating concrete forms are an
evolutionary method of construction. They replace conventional
wood framing with stay-in-place polystyrene forms filled with
reinforced concrete to create the structural walls of your home.
All conventional sidings and home designs can be incorporated
into a home framed with Reddi-Wall blocks.

Install
Footer
Using the 3 in 1 "Form-a-Drain" System by CertainTeed. This unique "stay in place" footer system has three (3) functions: 1st as the Footer Form, 2nd is to function as a complete drainage system, 3rd as a radon mitigation system.
Install
Starter Track
After the footer is poured and finished the inside wall dimension is then chalked on the footer and starter track is nailed down around the entire inside perimeter.
The starter track is used to secure the bottom block course against any lateral movement during
the concrete pour. |
Set
Block or Panels
Following placement of the starter track the we begin setting complete wall panels or individual 5 ft. long interlocking
foam blocks. Each 3 lb block interlocks with the one above, below and in line with it using Reddi-Wall's patented forming system. |
H
Track
As the block is placed, rigid horizontal track (H-Track) is locked into a special groove located at the top and bottom of each course. This prohibits lateral movement of the form.
Horizontal
Rebar
As each course is placed so is the horizontal rebar in specially designed rebar chairs which fit in predetermined slots along the inside of each block.
Vertical
C-Track
After the blocks have been placed, vertical track is installed through special chases located every 10"
O.C.(((????)))) along the top of the block. This "locks" the wall from top to bottom.
Window
Installation
Window bucks (frames) are placed as the crew vertically ascends up the wall. The wall is
built around the frame
which stays in place after the pour.
Support
Bracing
After the wall is stacked and interlocked the last thing installed before the pour is the support bracing. This can
be installed for single pours of up to 10 feet high.
Concrete
Pour
Wall supports also are used as scaffold for walkways during the concrete pour, placement of the vertical rebar and any other construction support brackets. |

things by fighting the existing reality. To change
something, build a new model that makes the existing
