Four Little Pigs?
We all know the
story of the three little pigs. Published versions of the story date back to the late 18th century, but the story is thought to be much older.
Of course, mother pig sends her three little piglets out into the world to make the strongest house for the family and they all
end up making three different types of houses. The first
pig builds a straw house, the second a stick house and the third
a brick house.
The big bad wolf is able to blow down the two inferior built homes; the straw
houae and the stick house. However, he
is unable to blow down the superior built third house which is made of
brick. Inside the brick house the piglets are safe and sound.
Unfortunately, today, the big
bad wolf has changed his disguise and he is threatening the
little pigs once
again in the form of unmanageable energy costs, global warming, unhealthy homes
due to mold and mildew, pests, and damage caused by severe weather events.
Here in the 21st century, 200-300
